Bleu

Maison & Objet
Rising Talent Awards, Paris
2025

There was a time in history when blue was undefined.
It was not because we could not see it-it had always existed-but it was simply unrecognised. Once the colour was acknowledged and became a symbol of many things, its presence began to accentuate what was once under-appreciated, raising it to a standard and beyond.

Through the simple forms and the use of discarded newspapers, this series of works draws attention to the importance of close observation-of both colour, material and all of the under-appreciated.

These works are meant to exist plainly, yet strongly-much like the colour blue.
